Re-build of auxilairy engine on "Horncliff"and overhaul of another seagoing transatlantic. "Horncap" Crankshaft changeout on 2 B&W 28/32 diesel generator sets, seagoing, transatlantic. Ferry m/v "Clansman" Machining in-situ of MAK 8M32 crankshaft in way of balance weights and Metalock repair to entablature. Reefer m/v "Horncliff" Machining crankpin in-situ of B&W 28/32 crankshaft seagoing. Re-metaling of Stern Tube Bush for m/v "Celtic Freedom". Mating surfaces for balance weight on M.E. Crankshaft type MAK 453 machined and damaged bolt hole recovered with screwed ferule on RO-RO m/v "Cymbeline". Emergency Main Engine repairs to Feeder Contailner Vessel "Celtic Mariner". Emergency drydocking of World's largest dredger "Cristobal Colon". Newport News "Hurst Point" drydocked for CP propeller repairs. Varna Maritime: Drydocking, steel renewals, extensive blasting and coating and machinery overhaul of mini-bulkers "Celtic Mariner" &"Celtic Freedom" Eleven ships from Willie Shipping in 2010 and 2011! Contracts carried out or booked for January & February 2011:- Varna Maritime, Varna: Mini Bulker "Celtic Pioneer", In yard for SPS Overlay of cargo hold bulkheads. Fincantieri - Palermo Yard: Cruise Liner "Blue de France" to be renamed "Saga Sapphire" entered the yard on 2nd November and will stay till the end of February 2012. Forty Six new French (Juliet) balconies to be fitted, 19 new suites with balconies, 350 cabins to be completely refurbished along with remodelling of public spaces including The Drawing Room and The Pier, International Themed Restaurants, galleys, lifts and new 2MW DG set etc. etc. |
