Contracts recently completed from UK Market:- Metalock Hamburg:-Reefer "Alicante Carrier" machining of B&W K90GF Liner Landings of entalature and insertion of cast iron compensating rings in Riga. Reefers "Malaga Carrier" & "Segovia Carrier" supply of special alternator pedestal bearings. Liner vessel "Gazellebank" supply of undersize crankpin bearing shells. Eventual Line boreing of Stb. M.E. Sulzer V14ZA40/48 and re-chocking of engine in Dunkirk. Metal-stitching repairs, liner landing insert ring and line-boring of B&W 28/32 entablature on "Hornbay". Machining of 3 B&W 28/32 crankshafts in our works for "Hornbay" & "Horncliff". and supply of special undersize / oversize bearing shells. Re-build of auxilairy engine on "Horncliff"and overhaul of another seagoing transatlantic. "Horncap" Crankshaft changeout on 2 B&W 28/32 diesel generator sets, seagoing, transatlantic. Tanker "British Endurance" alongside for Main Engine and Lifeboat modifications. Shuttle Tanker "Loch Rannoch" alongside for cargo tank repairs. Rudder repairs to Capesize Bulker "Heythrop". Costruzioni Arsenale di Venezia (CAV):- Ro-Ro "UND Birlik" drydocked for cleaning and painting.Bulker "Celtic Carrier" drydocked for bottom repairs. Fincantieri - Palermo & Trieste:- Feeder Container Vessel "Gitte" drydocked for Stern Seal Renewal and shell repairs. Feeder Container "Emily Borchard" drydocked engine overhaul and special survey work. Feeder Container "Glenmoor" Crane repairs alongside. Extensive steel renewals to car carrier "Autoroute". Emergency Main Engine repairs to Feeder Contailner Vessel "Celtic Mariner". Emergency drydocking of World's largest dredger "Cristobal Colon". Newport News "Hurst Point" drydocked for CP propeller repairs. Contracts carried out or booked for April, May & June 2010:- Metalock: s/s "LNG Edo" Machining in-situ of Turbo Alternator rotor journal, manufacture and installation of new bearing shells to suit. Varna Maritime: Drydocking, steel renewals, extensive blasting and coating and machinery overhaul of mini-bulkers "Celtic Pioneer", "Celtic Navigator", "Celtic Forester" & "Celtic Fortune".
